The Phaze Hydrocarbon Leak Detector (HLD) is used for monitoring of the subsea environment during production. This is the most used subsea leak detection system on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and more than 400 units have been installed since 1995.

Phaze’s new high accuracy pressure transducer is based on a Piezoresistive sensor element with extreme stability and outstanding durability. Accurate measurements during dynamic conditions are obtained by measuring both the pressure and temperature in the same silicon crystal structure. Equal temperature throughout the pressure and temperature element is vital for accurate measurement during pressure and temperature transients. The low mass and extremely small size makes the sensor element almost insensitive to mounting stress and g-force.

Subsea Electronic Enclosures, multiphase pumps and hydraulic systems are areas where even small amounts of water or hydraulic oil may cause costly malfunctions. Monitoring the internal environment improves confidence and makes it possible to prepare and schedule interventions. Replacement of components before failure will not only increase reliability, but also reduce the service and maintenance time, as well as reduce the costs dramatically.

Our Water Cut Meter (WCM) is designed for installation on subsea X-mas trees and on land based installations, and provides the end user with valuable information about produced water. The extremely compact design incorporates an API flange interface. Hence, the WCM can easily be installed on a standard mechanical interface and replace e.g. a Pressure/Temperature Transmitter (PT/TT).
